A pre-oiled floor can be cleaned with just warm water and a damp mop.

Yes. For a deep clean, use Mitis soap.
WHAT DO I DO IF THERE’S A SPILL ON THE FLOOR?
Simply clean it up with a damp cloth.
IS PRE-OILED FLOORING RESISTANT?
Yes. The impregnating oils applied to the pre-oiled floor make it resistant to most stains.
IS PRE-OILED FLOORING RESISTANT TO SCRATCHING?
All wood floors are subject to scratching, but unlike prefinished floors, pre-oiled floors leave almost no scratches.
CAN PRE-OILED FLOORING BE REPAIRED?
Yes. Minor damage can be easily repaired with the retouching kit for pre-oiled floors.
CAN I RESTORE PRE-OILED FLOORING?
Yes. A pre-oiled floor is easy to restore. The restoration of a prefinished floor is expensive, usually toxic and requires a professional, while the restoration of a pre-oiled floor is simple, safe and can be done by the homeowner themselves.

Yes. The installation of a pre-oiled floor on concrete or radiant floor is guaranteed. Consult our installation instructions.

Dog claws can scratch any floor, but on a pre-oiled floor, scratches will be very inconspicuous and easy to restore.
WILL LIGHT ALTER THE COLOUR OF MY FLOOR?
Like any natural wood product, you will have to expect the colour of your floor to change slightly after a certain period of time.
DOES PRE-OILED FLOORING REDUCE NOISE IN A ROOM?
Yes. The finish of a pre-oiled floor actually allows the wood to absorb the sound.
IS PRE-OILED FLOORING WARM UNDERFOOT?
Yes. No finish seals the surface of the wood. Therefore, pre-oiled wood floors absorb the ambient heat of the room.
DOES PRE-OILED FLOORING HAVE A TENDENCY TO CURVE OR WARP?
The methods of sawing oiled floors and the impregnation oils reduce the risk of curving or warping because moisture does not get trapped in the boards. The pre-oiled floor breathes.
IS PRE-OILED FLOORING SLIPPERY?
Unlike a urethane surface, pre-oiled floors are not slippery – even when wet.
